Hi y'all! I began this blog under a different name way back in 2007. It has changed over the years, just like I have, but I always end up coming back here! Obviously, my name is Christine. I've lived my whole life right here in the awesome state of Kentucky. I think it's great, some people don't. I married my high school sweetheart in 2000. We have three kids and two grand kids. I work as a paraeducator for the local school district. I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up until I started volunteering at my youngest daughter's school when she started kindergarten. It was there that I realized I loved helping kids learn.

I love things like: coffee from the local coffee shop, tie dye, plants, cats, knitting, and Jeeps. Halloween is my favorite holiday. Black is my favorite color. I cuss way more than I should. I'm Gen X so I still care a little about what people think, but I also won't stop being myself either.

This space is about food, family, home, and our adventures around the state. We love to do Jeep rides and they ALWAYS lead us to good places to eat, scenic views, and the occasional hilarious mishaps. Let's see where this adventure takes us!
